Просмотр полной версии : Создание Фредди Крюгера с нуля (маска, костюм, перчатки)
im nearly finished with the sculpt now and getting ready to start molding. these pics were taken earlier this morning and ive done a good bit since then. what you guys think? Ive evened up the shoulders on the back as well so they arent like the picture of the back any more.
heres some overdue pics of my freddy mold. Sorry for the delay. I had a lot of computer trouble lately . I lost some of the pics during rebooting my computer. my fault though as i never copied over the folder i had them in but hey what can ya do. I still have some anyway so ill show the ones i got. sorry if they are a bit dark but you get the idea. Okay anyway for anyone interested heres the rundown of how i made the mold of the head:
Okay its a 1 part thixotropic silicone mold with a fiberglass mother mold. I started off by placing the sculpt on a large enough sheet of scrap board. I then mixed a batch of silicone with the catalyst and then added about .5 to 1 % thixotropic additive to stop the silicone running off a vertical surface. I only added a little amount of the additive for what is essentially the beauty coat.
When this coat began to get tacky which was after about an hour and a half as i have the fast additive i added a second thicker coat of silicone with a color in it. For this coat i used about 2.5 % additive to the mix. I added the colour so i knew that i had evenly spread all the silicone for the second coat and that i hadnt missed anywhere. I repeated this process for one last coat and then the silicone stage was finished.http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/5518/fredforspring3.jpg (http://img834.imageshack.us/i/fredforspring3.jpg/)
After this i built up a clay dividing and fiberglassed the first half of the mold. Unfortunately i dont have any pics of the fiberglass in progress but when the first half was molded i using vaseline as a release agent and fiberglassed the second half. When this was done i drilled some holes for bolts and wing nuts and removed the plastaline head from the silicone mold. I did this but cutting a t shape in the back of the head leaving me with a more or less closed seam and hopefully very little work after casting.
Im still waiting for my resin but today i managed to get some copper so i started to make my first glove. I couldnt get some brass yet for the handplate but im hoping to get some tomorrow but i went ahead and cut out a copper one anyway to test my templates. Here's my progress so far. Bear in mind its my first attempt at making one so what you guys think. Im and gonna start on the blades now and get a good glove somewhere. More soon
got my resin today and was busy gettin my freddy casted along with one of my 1:1 raptor heads for a guy on the hunters lair. so here he is.still needs a trim but came out well. Gonna paint him up now in a day or so and insert the glass eyes and then make another mold for a siliccone mask. If anyone is interested in one by the way just let me know and ill make you up a copy. Ill also be making copies of my animatronic hand when its finished for displaying gloves if anyone is interested in that. As for my own glove im waiting on rivots from ebay and i need to get or make some blades.Ive also weathered, dyed and cut the stanley glove and started workm on the body frame. More to come soon.
here's some pics of the weathered and cut glove. I was asked to give it a dirty charred look. My Body frame is also made and ill have pics of that tomorrow and I'm starting the animatronics for the hand tomorrow. Ill have more pics soon.
Today I spent all day today cutting out my blades from a sheet of steel grinding them and sanding them up to 2000 grit at which point they are like mirrors. Ill have some pics of them tomorrow a well hopefully soldered onto my finger pieces. But for now you'l have to make do with a ouple of pics of my head primed and ready for paint and eyes with his fedora. Im real excited to see him with some paint and im hoping to paint him and the left hand before the week is out. Thanks again
Im painting Fred tomorrow and putting in the eyes so ill have some painted pics of him soon. But for so far i got my blades bevelled (which was very tricky by hand) and soldered. I've started the animatronics but not much to show yet as i need the glove finished first to make sure everything runs smoothly.More to come
i started painting today. Been sick the past couple of days but back on track now. Here's some teaser pics of the head that im painting. Will have the paintjob finished tomorrow and the eyes inserted properly so will have proper pics then. Also ordered a proper sweater that should be here soon.
here's the finished paintjob on Freddy. Will probably have to paint the eyes another bit before i put the clear acrylic on but im pretty happy with how it looks and the guy who comissioned it loves it so its all good.

Woke up to my new freddy jumper which was really cool. Ive a pic below. I also made another resin freddy head and tested the jumper to see what it looked like. This head is for a friend of the client's which he organised which is good seeing as he isnt buying the whole thing. I thought it was decent at least getting me more business.
I also got the glove fully rivoted and weather. Pretty happy with it although the next one will be much better.http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/2023/fredglove2forsite.jpg (http://img821.imageshack.us/i/fredglove2forsite.jpg/)
And here's a pic of the resin animatronic prototype. It is hinged with toggle bolts and the idea was that a fishing cable would go through the hollow hand into the finger tip and pull the finger down and a spring at the back where your knuckes are would bring the finger back straight once the servo tension was released. This was basically a tester and althogub its really rough and ready it works....... but not with the armature on so im currently back on the drawing board. I will definately be making these in the future but its a trial and error thing and will take some time. For now im going to concentrate on finishing the bust and my statue and then go back on the hand.
here's some pics of the body. Its a modified mannequin and my head has been put onto it. The other head for the client is being prepared and this is my one. The mannequin will have posable arms which im making at the minute and its secured to the mannequin with a piece of angle iron. Will have more tomorrow. I'm getting excited now to see this done. Hope you like. More on the hand soon as well. Got my design and measurements for it sorted. I just popped in the other heads eyes for a minute too and i still need to paint the white of the eye a bit more. But you get the idea. Sorry that some of the pics are a bit grainy or blurry too. Was using my phone
Fred now has a pair of legs to call his own. The lower legs still need to be bulked out as they are currently only angle iron but he's got a nice pair of shoes and his arms are ready to go on as well. Ill have some more pics soon as work has kinda been slow this week cos ive been working on my new Workshop. More to come.Body still aslo needs to be bent into shape so ignore the pose.
